As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Sanyo PLC SU10 is equipped with 600 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 250:1. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 213 cm can be illuminated with 600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 142 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 1998, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
