The PLC WTC500 model from Sanyo combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.
