Based on LCD technology, the Sanyo PLC XU106 device delivers 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 1000:1 as a projector. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
