The technical data of the Sanyo PLC XU32 includes 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 239 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
