According to Sanyo, the PLC XL51A model provides 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1200:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
