Equipped with LCD technology, the Sanyo PLC XU33 offers 1700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
