The Sanyo PLC WL2500 is a LCD projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 500:1. According to Sanyo, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 100 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
