Equipped with LCD technology, the Sanyo PLC XP55E offers 4500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1100:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
