Behind the name PLC SU40 is a LCD projector by Sanyo, whose main features include 1750 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Sanyo, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 364 cm can be illuminated with 1750 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 243 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.
