The projector PLC XU37 by Sanyo utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
