With the PLC XP40E, Sanyo offers a LCD projector that features 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
