The projector IN8601 by InFocus operates as a 3D-DLP device with 2700 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 30000:1. According to InFocus, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
