The basic data of the InFocus X2 includes 1600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding projection size, the value of 1600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 232 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.

First connected the projector with an S-VHS cable via the Scart output of the satellite receiver. Result: reasonably good. I then bought the Humax PR-Fox satellite receiver with its own S-VHS output and had an even better TV picture. The projector is now controlled by a PACE HDTV satellite receiver (DS 810) via a component cable (also known as YUV) to VGA. This requires the use of the computer input of the projector and the VGA to M1 cable supplied by Infocus; see operating instructions. The result is outstanding: a brilliant, very sharp picture with 1A color reproduction. I only use the projector in ECO mode.
