The IN5502 model is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector from InFocus, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
