The basic data of the InFocus LP840 includes 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 750:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
