The projector INL174 by InFocus utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 4100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 558 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 372 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels.
