Based on DLP technology, the InFocus Genesis IN112BB device delivers 3800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 30000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 8000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 11 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 537 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 358 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
