The InFocus IN1116 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 2400 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 14000:1. According to InFocus, the lamp has a durability of 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 2400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 498 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 332 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for optional Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
