With the IN124ST, InFocus offers a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 120 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
