The PLC WXL46 is a LCD projector by Sanyo, whose specifications list 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 100 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
