Known as the PLC XU50, this LCD projector by Sanyo features basic specs of 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
