The InFocus Quantum Apex Master is a 3D-LED-LCD projector that brings 560 ANSI lumens and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 25000 hours for the LED light source. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 17.1 years. To make performance data comparable based on the ISO lumen values, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 560 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 240 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 160 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
