With the IN118HDSTa, InFocus offers a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 104 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
