A projector from Hitachi is the CP-WX9210, whose Laser-DLP model delivers 8500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 937 cm can be illuminated with 8500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 625 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
