Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the CP-EW5001WN projector from Hitachi projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 5000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 16000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4500 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
