The CP CW301WN model is a Laser-LCD projector from Hitachi, intended for Short Distance applications, offering 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Hitachi, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 120 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 566 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 377 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
