As a projector, the Hitachi CP CX300WN combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 120 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
