Behind the name CP-X9110 is a DLP projector by Hitachi, whose main features include 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 10000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 871 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 581 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
