As a projector, the Hitachi CP-HD9321 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 8200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Hitachi, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 920 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 613 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
