As a projector, the Hitachi CP WX30LWN combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
