The PJ TX10E model is a LED-LCD projector from Hitachi, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 at WVGA 854 x 480. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Lens Shift Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 269 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 179 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.

I‘ve had the PJ-TX 10 for about 2.5 years now and haven‘t had any complaints about it so far. I have to say that the lamp is relatively cheap, considering that there are also lamps (400-500 euros) where you can already get a projector for it. all in all, the projector is still worth the money.
