A projector from Hitachi is the CP X8160, whose LCD model delivers 6000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
