As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Hitachi LP-TW3001 is equipped with 3300 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 500000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 60 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
