The CP WX4042WN model is a LCD projector from Hitachi, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Hitachi's current product range.
