The technical data of the Hitachi CP-WU9100 includes 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The device is available in black and white color options. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1016 cm can be illuminated with 10000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 677 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
