As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Hitachi CP X995W is equipped with 4500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 300:1. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 389 cm. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
