According to Hitachi, the ED A111 model provides 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 500:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 68 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 259 cm. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
