Behind the name MP-JW351E is a 3D-LCD projector by Maxell, whose main features include 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Maxell.
