The technical data of the Maxell MC-WX5505 includes 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Maxell, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 489 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Maxell's current product range.
