A projector from Maxell is the MP-WU5503, whose 3D-LCD model delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 and a contrast of 1500000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Distance Calculator is recommended. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Wide screen width or rooms with plenty of light (over 200 lumens).
