The MP-EX5002 model is a LCD projector from Maxell, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 634 cm can be illuminated with 5300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 423 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Maxell's current product range.
