Based on LCD technology, the Maxell MC-AX3506 projects images in a Short Distance environment, with technical specs listing 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 60 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 537 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 358 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Maxell.
