The MC-EW3551 is a LCD projector by Maxell, whose specifications list 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 8.2 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
