According to LG, the AF115 model provides 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 30000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 393 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 262 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 22 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. After initial skepticism, the projector has totally convinced me. Bright and high-contrast images with a good black level and very quiet! It delivers a homogeneous, sharp film image that comes very close to the analog cinema image. Hard to beat for this price (999€). Calibration is very simple. Using a 15m long HDMI cable, I can run it at 1080p without any problems. This makes home theater fun? CLEAR RECOMMENDATION TO BUY!
