The LG HU715Q / QW / AEU is a LED-DLP projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 44 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports optional Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by LG. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
