As a projector, the LG HU715Q / QW / AEU combines DLP technology with a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160, and is additionally specified with 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 44 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports optional Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
