The projector PH550G by LG utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 550 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. For mobile use, grid-independent operation is possible for a maximum period of 2 hours thanks to the built-in battery. A look at the light output reveals: The 550 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 238 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 159 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of LG's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
