The HS101 model from LG combines DLP technology in the Game-Portabel sector with 100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Regarding projection size, the value of 100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 87 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 58 cm. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
