As a projector for the Game-Portabel sector, the LG HS102 is equipped with 160 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 160 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 110 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 73 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.

Hello,
my HS102G has developed the habit of beeping for the first 5-10 minutes after switching on. This is probably caused by the touch panel. The menus also open automatically. After switching it off and on again, the problem is gone. I don‘t need the touch panel and would like to switch it off completely. LG‘s service is lousy: they want me to send the device in straight away because of this minor issue and then probably have to live without a projector for weeks. When I asked for a firmware update or an operating hours counter, I got no answer at all. Does anyone know whether there is
- a firmware update for the device
- a service manual
- how to call up a service menu
- whether you can at least see an operating hours counter somewhere?
