The LG RL JA21 is a LCD projector offering 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 27 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by LG.
