Designed for the Stationary sector, the ProBeam BU50RG model from LG features 5000 ANSI lumens, a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since the projector supports Miracast, Airplay and Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. This model dates back to 2023 and is no longer part of LG's current product range.
